RetroPod 6x9 Inch Surface Mount Speaker Mounting Modules

These speaker pods are designed to allow mounting of various sizes of speakers into areas where there is not enough depth or where you want to avoid cutting the vehicle as much as possible.

A rotary cutting tool (such as a Dremel) is required to cut speaker holes in the Retro Pods. These RetroSound multi-purpose surface-mount speaker modules are a great way to add sound to any vehicle. These are made from rugged ABS plastic and will mount to any flat surface, such as kick panels, doors or rear package trays.

They can be painted or covered in vinyl wrap to match your vehicle's interior. The angled design directs sound towards the listener. These specific modules accept 6.5-inch, 5x7-inch or 6x9-inch speakers and 6.5-inch component systems Speaker grills are included. Price is per pair.

They accept 6.5 inch, 5x7 inch or 6x9 inch speakers and 6.5 inch component systems and are supplied as a pair.

Add your choice of speakers, not only our range of quality speakers but other brands may fit as well: Deluxe speakers such as our 693N neodymium magnet speakers are optional with this package. These speakers feature Santoprene surrounds for smooth, natural sound and Mylar tweeters for crisp, clear highs.
